Going Pro Produces DC Sci Cheer Performance

On April 26-27, Going Pro Entertainment was again proud to produce stage performances by the Science Cheerleaders at the Third Annual USA Science and Engineering Festival for a crowd of over 300,000 in Washington, DC. In 2010, the festival was the "launchpad" of the Science Cheerleaders.


In 2010, the festival was the official launch of the Science Cheerleaders performance series, created by Darlene Cavalier under creative production of Going Pro Entertainment's Laura Clark. The April 2014 performance included current and alumni performers from NBA and NFL teams including the Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, Orlando Magic and Sacramento Kings, as well as college performers from Drexel University and semi-pro performers from the Baltimore Blast MISL. Choreographer / creative director Laura Clark is an alumna NFL Cheerleader for the Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Rams.


The Science Cheerleaders have performed around the country in Texas, Nevada, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, as well frequent community and school appearances, with the goal to encourage girls and women to pursue careers in STEM - science, technology, engineering and math. Performances have included the Philadelphia 76ers NBA Game, Women in NASA, and the Today Show.
