Meet Consultant Robin Delaney - Oakland, CA

Going Pro Entertainment welcomes Robin Delaney to its Bay Area consulting team, based in Oakland, California. Robin's dynamic teaching style and choreography have brought joy to teams for many years. Robin Delaney has cheered, taught and choreographed professionally since 1993. Her cheer and dance career began with the United Spirit Association’s cheer and song staff. She has danced on every pro dance team in the Bay Area including three years with the NBA Warrior Girls, two years with the NFL San Franciso 49ers Gold Rush, two years with the San Jose Saberkittens, and two years with the NFL Oakland Raiderettes. As a Raiderette, Robin won the prestigious “Dancer of the Year” award her rookie season and completed her final year cheering as a Co-Captain.

Having choreographed for pro teams such as the Kings, Gold Rush, Saberkittens and Warrior Girls, Robin has an extensive understanding of the tryout process and what its like to cheer professionally on many levels. Robin was the dance team director for the ABA Richmond Rocket Girls, winning Administrator of the year for the 2011-2012 season in the Pacific North West conference. Currently she serves as the ABA San Francisco Rumble “After Shocks” Dance Team Director.

Robin travels across the nation and abroad with Ronnie Reddicks, LaFemme Panache, a management/dance company where she is a featured dancer for several cover bands. Robin has a passion for teaching and is currently pursuing her teaching credential to teach at the high school level. Her passion for working with the youth, coupled with her experience in professional dance and teaching, brings a dynamic element to her teaching and coaching style.
