Going Pro Founder Crowned Ms. United States 2011

Representing the state of Virginia, Going Pro founder and executive director Laura Eilers was crowned Ms. United States on July 14, 2011 in Las Vegas. Laura was an NFL cheerleader for 6 years in Kansas City and St. Louis. She directs the Lady Raiders Dance & Cheer Team for arena football in Richmond, Virginia and stays active across the country in a variety of dance and cheerleading programs including the Portsmouth Cavaliers ABA Team and the Virginia Destroyers UFL Team. Additionally, Laura serves as the national sales manager for Angela King Designs Go Wild! Wear.

Laura’s platform is “Let’s Move,” the campaign enacted by First Lady Michelle Obama. This program encourages daily activity, nutritious eating, overall good health and positive self esteem. Through Let’s Move, Laura educates men, women and children of all ages on how to support a healthy lifestyle.
