NASA Welcomes GPE Choreography by the Science Cheerleaders

Earlier in March, the USA Science Cheerleaders hit Washington, DC to entertain at NASA Headquarters during a White House event. The group continues to seek out eligible Science Cheerleaders for upcoming performances in Philadelphia, Maryland, New York and more.

The Science Cheerleaders consists of current and alumni professional cheerleaders who are studying or working in science, math, engineering, technology and health. The Science Cheerleader project was created by 76ers NBA alum Darlene Cavalier. Cavalier features Science Cheerleaders biographies, photographs and video introductions on her website at www.sciencecheerleader.com. In October 2010, she brought the Science Cheerleaders to life with assistance by Going Pro executive director Laura Eilers, who served as the project’s creative director and choreographer. The first Science Cheerleader performance was featured at the US Science and Engineering Festival. The group has been featured by CNN, BBC, NASA TV and numerous other media outlets.

Science Cheerleaders from within the Going Pro Entertainment staff include Lindsay Rodolico, Erin Donnelly, Heidi Inthavong, Taylor Hooks, and Sandra Fields.
